Our Process

1

Initial meeting/screening for both parties

Hiring a contractor is a very important decision that homeowners have to make.  Upon our first meeting, we want you to feel comfortable with us.  Since we will be working in your home, we feel it’s crucial that you are as ease with us and can trust us.  Equally as important, we need to feel a sense of trust and comfort with you as well.  In our opinion, this always helps a project to be the best possible experience for all of us.

We find visiting the site to be crucial as it allows us to listen to our clients vision of their project.  Taking notes during the visit enables us to identify our clients needs and direction of the project

2

Site Visits

After the site visits, we come up with an initial budget based on our clients wants and needs for their project.  This gives up some very close financial parameters to stick to as we work through the design process. We find an initial budget upfront helps when addressing the final costs of the project.

3

Initial Budget Proposal

This stage is crucial as all the required services are outlined in detail for the execution of the construction portion of a project.  At this point, all of the designs are finalized and the contract is drawn up for signing by both parties.  Our contracts include a full scope of work as well as a full financial breakdown of the project.

4

Pre-construction

For all of our projects, we take the responsibility of making sure all permits are retained and all inspections are completed.  Our clients are always given copies of the permits and completed inspections for their records.

5

Permit Process

During the construction phase, we provide full-time project management to ensure the project remains on time and budget.  We keep in constant communication with you on a daily basis so that you are always up to speed on progress.

6

Construction Phase

Once the project is complete and all inspections have been completed, we provide a thorough walk through with you to go over the entire scope of work.  Together we identify and compile a list of items that may need addressing and we then begin our warranty process.  We always include a warranty package as a way of ensuring that our work will stand the test of time for you.

7

Completion of Project

“Beyond delivering a beautiful home, they created a genuinely positive working relationship. We always felt respected, heard, and treated like partners in the process.”
